History

The Seneca Valley North Athletic Association  (SVNAA) was formed in 2013 as a partnership of the Zelienople Harmony Athletic Association (ZHAA) and the Evans City Community Athletic Association (ECAA) baseball and softball programs. The new organization serves the northern communities of the Seneca Valley School District, as well as neighboring communities in Beaver  and Butler County. SVNAA provides organized leagues for children ages 4-18, from first-year T-ball leagues to American Legion ball.

The association sponsors both in-house and travel leagues for baseball and softball. In addition, a number of tournaments are sponsored by league coaches, usually in July. Games are currently played at the baseball and softball fields at Zelienople Community Park and Connoquenessing Valley Elementary (CVE) School, as well as at three fields in EDCO Park in Evans City.

Although the association works closely with other local public and private organizations, we are not affiliated with--nor do we received funding from--any other organization. The financial life of our organization is dependent on our membership dues, fundraising events, and the extreme generosity shown by our many sponsors.

SVNAA is an all-volunteer organization and we welcome the input and assistance of all interested parties. All are welcome to attend the association's board meetings.
